SANTA CLARA – There was no hiding the 49ers' frustration on Sunday during their blowout loss to the Arizona Cardinals. And some of the more outward signs came from their group of veteran captains.
“Very frustrated,” 49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin said. “I think we all were. We came out and had a great week of practice last week. We felt like we had a good game plan, felt prepared. And to go out and play the way we did was totally unacceptable.”
Boldin said his frustration after catching two passes for 16 yards in the 49ers’ 47-7 loss was not directed at quarterback Colin Kaepernick -- though Boldin appeared to be open on the first-quarter plays that resulted in interception returns for touchdowns.
