At midnight, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted that San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and linebacker Fred Warner would play this afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals despite being listed on the injury report.
The Niners will have two of their top players active. In a divisional matchup where both teams know each other's tendencies, playmakers like Kittle and Warner end up being difference-makers.
Warner being active means the 49ers won’t have to start a linebacker who they don’t feel is ready to play yet, especially against an offense that features Kyler Murray and James Conner.
