Another week, another move up a career leaderboard for running back Frank Gore. In Week 9, Gore has moved past Barry Sanders on the career yards from scrimmage leaderboard. Gore entered the day with 18,145 yards from scrimmage, sitting 45 yards back of Sanders. Heading into the fourth quarter against the New York Jets, Gore has 49 rushing yards and six receiving yards. That puts him at 18,200 career yards from scrimmage.
Gore and the Dolphins have seven games remaining once this one wraps up. Gore has moved into sixth place on the yards from scrimmage leaderboard, and he has a good chance to pass LaDainian Tomlinson for fifth place by the end of the season.
