Former Stanford tight end Konrad Reuland died on Monday from a brain aneurysm, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced after his team's 30-23 loss to the Patriots.
Reuland was 29 years old.
"Just want to offer condolences to his family. We love Konrad Reuland," Harbaugh said to the media. "Every single guy in that locker room loves him who knows him."
The 49ers signed Reuland as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played a total of 30 games in his NFL career between the Jets and Ravens.
Reuland last played in the NFL for the Ravens last season, earning one start in his four games played.
