Roddy White wants a piece of Kyle Shanahan for how Super Bowl LI went down.
White went off on the former Falcons offensive coordinator in an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution posted Tuesday.
“I’m glad I wasn’t a part of that team because I probably literally would’ve fought him,” White said of Shanahan, the new 49ers head coach.
White played 11 seasons for the Falcons, hauling in the most receiving yards in team history before retiring in 2015.
While others have spread the blame around for Atlanta allowing 31 straight points to lose to the Patriots — like former 49ers wide receiver Brent Jones — White seemingly laid it squarely on Shanahan’s shoulders.
