Former 49ers safety Eric Reid is complaining again.
Reid complained over the summer and the first month of the NFL season, and for good reason. His 49ers contract expired after the 2017 season, and he could not attract any interest from NFL teams. He was so frustrated that he joined Colin Kaepernick in a collusion grievance against the league. The former 49ers teammates charged teams were blackballing them because of their kneeling, silent protests before games.
Reid seemed to have a point at the time.
No more. The Carolina Panthers signed him on Sept. 27. They were supportive when he knelt during the national anthem before his first game with the team.
