Former 49ers GM punches wall after hearing of rookie injury

Washington general manager Scot McCloughan didn't take the news of rookie receiver Josh Doctson being slowed by an Achilles injury that well.

When McCloughan showed up to training camp Friday with his left hand in a medical wrap, it raised questions that former Washington tight end Chris Cooley was able to answer.

"I said, 'What happened to your hand?'" host Cooley said on ESPN 980, via Richmond.com. "He said, when I found out about Doctson - which they thought was going to be much worse, the Doctson injury, apparently it isn't going to be as bad - I punched the wall.
