Rashard Robinson, the former 49ers cornerback who was traded to the Jets in October, was arrested in New Jersey last month and charged with drug possession and carelessly driving.
According to the Associated Press, police found marijuana-laced candy -- THC infused "Peanut Budda Buddah Candy" -- in Robinson's possession after they pulled over the 2018 Mercedes Benz he was driving.
At this point last year, Robinson was viewed as a potential star in the 49ers secondary after a rookie season in which he started six games and played well. That view steadily dimmed during 2017 when Robinson was picked on by opposing quarterbacks and committed a team-high eight penalties in the first seven games of the season.
