The 49ers on Monday announced the club has released tight end Bruce Miller following his arrest for assault in San Francisco.
On Monday morning, the 49ers released a statement in which they acknowledged they were aware of Miller’s alleged assault that sent a 70-year-old man and his son to a San Francisco hospital.
“The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the media report regarding Bruce Miller,” the 49ers said in a statement. “We are gathering the relevant facts of this matter and will continue to monitor the situation.”
