Ezekiel Elliott likely won’t miss Week 7 vs. 49ers

A Federal Judge on Friday granted an NFL Players Association request for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to prevent the suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. The running back was already eligible to play in the team’s opener against the New York Giants, but his six-game suspension for personal conduct policy violations related to a domestic abuse incident was set to begin after that.

That’s because an arbitrator upheld Elliott’s suspension set forth by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Now that a the courts have granted the injunction, it’s unlikely that Elliott will be suspended any time soon.
