Andy Lee was one of the best players on the San Francisco 49ers teams of the late 2000s. With a weak offense and above average defense, Lee quickly became one of my favorite players. I remember getting excited when he would come out onto the field to punt the ball. Sure, it meant San Francisco failed to move the ball yet again, but it also meant that, for at least a brief moment, someone in a 49ers uniform would do something good. Really, really good.
Lee made three Pro Bowls with the 49ers, in 2007, 2009, and 2011.
