Former Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is trying his best to extract some sort of personal victory after what the San Francisco 49ers did to the Dallas Cowboys in their 19-12 playoff win on Sunday.
The final play of the game was a comical failure for the Cowboys. Attempting the trickiest of trick plays, running back Ezekiel Elliott, serving as the team’s sole lineman, hiked the ball to Dak Prescott and tried to start off an immaculate hook-and-ladder to score a late game-tying touchdown.
At least, that was the hope. In reality, Elliott ended up getting pancaked, Prescott had to hurry his throw, and KaVontae Turpin was immediately speared by Jimmie Ward.
