What a difference a year has made for the San Francisco 49ers heading into 2018.
With the opening waves of free agency now complete, the folks over at ESPN have compiled their latest NFL power rankings just ahead of the NFL Draft, which begins on Apr. 26.
The Niners, who spent much of 2017 ranked at or near the bottom, have seen a rapid ascent and now land at No. 11 on ESPN’s latest list.

Way-too-early ranking: 14Only the Packers allowed a higher Total QBR on passes to wide receivers than the Niners did last season, so the addition of Richard Sherman should pay immediate dividends.
