ESPN seemingly brought dozens of members of its NFL coverage team to the Bay Area for Monday night’s 49ers win, and one of them shot his shot with star tight end George Kittle.
Scott Van Pelt is based in Washington, D.C., but came to Santa Clara to host the network’s pregame show, “Monday Night Countdown,” and “SportsCenter” after the game. In a postgame interview with Kittle, Van Pelt pointed out how early the game ended — the Niners won, 32-19 — and said he wanted to keep the night going.
