Do the Sacramento Kings have the worst roster in major pro sports?
According to rankings in the Oct. 31 issue of ESPN The Magazine, yes. They do. But they’re not the worst franchise in North American pro sports – that would be the San Francisco 49ers, who rank dead last in the 2016 Ultimate Standings.
ESPN’s annual survey ranks all 122 franchises in the NBA, NFL, Major League Baseball and NHL.
The rankings are derived from responses of more than 72,000 fans to a questionnaire grading their home teams on 25 criteria, which ESPN grouped into seven categories.
