The San Francisco 49ers will kick off their 2018 offseason workout program on April 16, and they should have one of their injured offensive lineman back and ready to go. Erik Magnuson told the 49ers Webzone podcast that he was medically cleared on Monday for the Lisfranc injury that put him on injured reserve this past season.
The 49ers signed Magnuson as a UDFA, and the one-time college tackle was developed into a reserve interior lineman. Injuries piled up on the line and he ended up spending time at tackle. He injured his foot against the Seattle Seahawks in late November, and what he initially thought was a broken foot turned out to be torn ligaments.
