Eric Reid explains reasons for kneeling during National Anthem, plans for change

The San Francisco 49ers will take the field on Monday night, and we will once again see Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid take a knee before the game. On Saturday, Reid offered up some thoughts on why he is taking a knee, and what he is trying to do to improve various issues.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin announced plans for he and his teammates to lock arms during the National Anthem, in a “demonstration of unity.” There is no word on what other players might do around the league. There is a chance more members of the 49ers join Kaepernick and Reid, but we likely won’t know until the Anthem plays near 7:20 p.
