DENVER -- The San Francisco 49ers went toe-to-toe with Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos high-powered offense on Wednesday afternoon from the UC Health Training Center in Englewood, Colo.
Both sides traded positive plays throughout practice: The 49ers pass rush got constant pressure while the Broncos were able to find some receivers downfield on occasion. That said, San Francisco’s defense got the upper hand as three interceptions highlighted the two-minute drill period that concluded practice.
Strong safety Antoine Bethea got things started with an interception of Manning. The future Hall-of-Fame quarterback floated a pass towards the left sideline intended for Cody Latimer and Bethea jumped in front to grab the pick.
