Former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick received some support at what might seem an unlikely place — the Emmy Awards red carpet.
Jenifer Lewis, an actress on the ABC comedy “Black-ish,” showed up for the ceremony Monday evening clad in a bold black and red Nike pullover, with the classic swoosh logo studded in jewels. She paired the sweater with leggings and Nike shoes.

“I am wearing Nike to applaud them for supporting Colin Kaepernick and his protest against racial injustice and police brutality,” she told Variety before the ceremony.
