Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s group buying bankrupt XFL

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s dream of playing professional football never really materialized, but the actor and former WWE star now has a league of his own after agreeing to purchase the XFL for a reported $15 million.

In perfect Hollywood fashion, Johnson and his investment team pulled off the deal, announced Monday morning, just hours before the now-dormant XFL was headed to auction after declaring bankruptcy in April.
