It sounds like the former Oregon product will not get to reunite with his former head coach.
The Miami Dolphins added cornerback depth on Tuesday, as they successfully claimed Ifo Ekpre-Olomu off waivers. The Cleveland Browns waived the injured cornerback over the weekend using a non-football injury designation, suggesting he had not fully recovered from his late 2014 college knee injury. The Browns spent a seventh round pick on the Oregon product, but he never got on the field.
Ekpre-Olomu has said his knee feels fine, but a recent MRI must have indicated something to the Browns.
