Jimmy Garoppolo didn’t need to put together a game-winning drive for the 49ers to beat the Packers on Sunday Night Football. But he did deliver what one teammate described as a game-saving speech during their 34-3 victory at Levi’s Stadium.
Despite jumping out to a 7-0 lead over Green Bay in the game’s first two minutes, the 49ers quarterback sensed trouble after a couple of fruitless 49ers drives. And he fired off a warning to his teammates that left All-Pro tight end George Kittle in awe.
