Jed York and Paraag Marathe will hire a new coach and general manager for the 49ers at some point, I’m sure of it, it’s inevitable, I mean, somebody will end up taking the jobs if they’re bribed heartily enough, maybe begged enough, and feel bad enough for Jed and Paraag, right?
The 49ers will hire a coach soon, probably Kyle Shanahan (after top choice Josh McDaniels pulled out).
They will also hire a GM, though your guess is as good as mine on that one.
They will emerge from this oddball double-search, they will have a big ol’ presser to introduce them, they will say everything is fixed now, they’ve gotten exactly right, everything went exactly as planned, and now all will be well in 49ersland once again.
