Deebo Samuel has had quite the roller coaster during his time with the San Francisco 49ers. Now, it seems clear that time together is coming to an end, as multiple reports on Super Bowl Sunday indicate a breakup is coming.
The wide receiver told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the 49ers have given Samuel and his agent Tory Dandy permission to find a trade partner. It comes after Samuel requested a trade at the team’s exit interviews after their regular season ended. “It was a hard conversation to have with Kyle [Shanahan] because of the relationship that we have,” Samuel told Schefter on Sunday.
