Former 49ers defensive lineman Dana Stubblefield was charged Monday with the rape of a disabled woman, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office announced.
Stubblefield, 45, faces five felony counts related to the alleged assault, according to the DA’s office. The alleged incident happened in April 2015 at Stubblefield’s home in Morgan Hill, where the alleged victim had been asked to interview for a babysitter job, the DA’s office said.
The woman, who was 31 years old at the time, immediately went to the Morgan Hill Police Department to report the alleged crime, the DA’s office said.
