Raheem Mostert, a month removed from the Super Bowl, was at the sporting world’s forefront when it came to sheltering away from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In early March, he went rogue and backed out of a Santa Clara autograph show featuring legends from the 49ers and other sports.
With the 49ers expected to fully reassemble for training camp in two months, his concerns remain, as do his wife’s as she prepares for the birth of their second son.
“She’s actually cried a couple times because she wants to make sure not only myself but all 90 guys in our locker room are safe and their families are as well,” Mostert said Wednesday on a video conference with reporters.
