During the San Francisco 49ers’ preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is retiring.
Luck, 29, was seen after the news broke leaving Lucas Oil Stadium (Colts’ home venue) to a chorus of boos from the crowd during the Colts’ preseason game agains the Chicago. A press conference is expected Sunday to go over the details.
The Colts released future-Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning to make room for Luck in the 2012 NFL Draft.
