Colin Kaepernick often thanks those who support him on Twitter, and the former 49ers quarterback did just that with Cardi B.
The up-and-coming hip hop artist shared words of support for Kaepernick while on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
For those who don’t know Cardi B, she is most known for her single “Bodak Yellow” — which sits at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart — and her participation in VH1’s reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York.
