After Nike on Monday pulled its Air Max 1 Quick Strike Fourth of July from stores at the last minute, the price for the shoes with Betsy Ross’ original American flag design stitched on the heel shot up like fireworks.
On the StockX website Tuesday, some of those who were able to get their hands on the kicks were asking for $2,500 a pair.
