San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been busy since the close of the 2016 NFL season. On Monday, Kaepernick was busy handing out books, clothing, and bedding at shelters and orphanages. Today, he announced the next round of donations as part of his promised $1 million of donations to various community organizations around the country.
This latest round of donations includes $50,000 to University of California-San Francisco for “The Mni Wiconi Health Clinic Partnership at Standing Rock,” $25,000 to Appetite for Change in Minneapolis, and Southsiders Organized for Unity and Liberation (SOUL) in Chicago.
