Colin Kaepernick drawing interest from Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are at least considering signing former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Monday.

Kaepernick, who hasn’t drawn any interest from NFL teams since opting out of his contract and becoming a free agent on March 1, could become the Seahawks backup quarterback. As could Robert Griffin III, said Carroll.

“We’re looking at everybody. We really are,” Carroll said on ESPN Seattle’s “Brock and Salk” show. “We’ve been tracking everything that’s going on, and we’ve got cap and roster issues and stuff like that that we’re still trying to manage properly.
