San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had a busy Monday, hosting his third annual golf tournament to raise money for Camp Taylor. We've discussed Camp Taylor plenty of times. They are a camp for kids with heart defects, providing them with a chance to enjoy a fun camp experience in spite of their health issues. Kids with heart defects have a variety of physical limitations, and Camp Taylor addresses that to help the kids be able to enjoy the simple pleasures of being a kid.
Kap has raised and donated a lot to Camp Taylor. It turns out, in the first two years of this fundraiser, Kap has raised over $500,000 for the camp.
