We’re not even a year removed from former Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco redefining the Comeback Player of the Year and two years after Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith set the table for the award. The NFL has had enough of these “comebacks” and plans to back control of who can win the award.
