Carlos Hyde and Shaun Draughn are making progress from injuries. We update their status.
The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice on Wednesday, and there is good news on the injury front. The beat writers are reporting that Carlos Hyde is wearing the blue non-contact jersey in practice. This is good news because it means he has progressed forward in the concussion protocol. Offensive coordinator Curtis Modkins seemed to expect Hyde to play this week. He did not specifically say he would, but did indicate he did not expect any surprises on that front.
The concussion protocol requires a player be asymptomatic at rest, and then again after activity.
