The San Francisco 49ers had a tough loss to the Seattle Seahawks this past weekend, falling short 20-17 thanks to a last-second touchdown from quarterback Geno Smith to drop to 5-5 on the season.
It was a much different outlook than San Francisco’s game against Seattle back in Week 6, where the former beat the latter 36-24. That was in part due to the offensive success the team had in creating chunk plays, which wasn’t apparent nearly as much on Sunday.
In fact, quarterback Brock Purdy didn’t attempt any passes over 19 yards, which hasn’t been his game usually, as he’s helped manufacture a number of explosive plays with his arm over the course of the season.
