As a result, the Browns would potentially eat as much as $7.25 million of Beckham’s remaining salary, while the team, if Beckham Jr. is claimed, inherits his veteran minimum salary off waivers.
That’s how claiming Beckham Jr. is possible. It also makes OBJ more claimable on waivers, so he couldn’t pick his destination. If the Lions, who have first priority on waivers, want Beckham Jr.
