The San Francisco 49ers signed free agent pass rusher Leonard Floyd with the expectation that he’ll continue to rack up sacks as he’s done for the past four seasons.
Surprisingly, Floyd had more pressures (44) last season with the Buffalo Bills than Javon Hargrave did (39) in his first season as a Niner. The hope is Floyd can keep that production up or do even better, playing alongside Hargrave and opposite Nick Bosa.
One coach on the 49ers staff knows all about Floyd. Brandon Staley has been with Floyd at two stops.
