San Francisco 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk reportedly has quite a bit of control over his future, even if it’s one away from the Bay Area.
The 26-year-old is allowed to negotiate with potential Niners trade suitors, as the team and player have yet to agree on a contract extension entering the second week of training camp, according to multiple reports. Aiyuk, fresh off a breakout season with 1,342 receiving yards, is in the final year of his rookie deal. Stalled discussions over a new contract have made him the subject of trade talks since the NFL Draft in April.
