The San Francisco 49ers returned to practice on Wednesday after a day off, and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was in attendance for the first time since handshake gate, which was 15 days ago.
It’s worth noting that Aiyuk was not in pads and is still “holding in,” but according to the beat reporters on hand, Aiyuk interacted with general manager John Lynch, stayed on the field through team drills, and was wearing 49ers gear.
Kyle Shanahan confirmed last week that Aiyuk has been in team meetings this entire time. Which makes any “diva” comments bizarre and out of line.
