San Francisco 49ers Hall of Famer Bob St. Clair died today in Santa Rosa after suffering complications from a broken hip. He was 84.
St. Clair was born in San Francisco. He went to San Francisco’s Polytechnic High School and the University of San Francisco before playing his entire professional career (1953 to 1963) with the 49ers. He was a nine-time All-Pro offensive tackle, and he was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1990.
