Ben Boulware was a brief member of the San Francisco 49ers. He signed with the team last week as a member of the practice squad, and was then released on Tuesday. After the news dropped, Boulware took to Twitter to give us some insight into the rough life of trying to make an NFL roster:
He followed that up by saying he knew life goes on, and that he believes “100 percent” that he can play and flourish in the NFL. He has a good attitude at least, but this is one of the reasons I don’t personally spend much time predicting 53-man rosters and the like — roster cutdowns are always a sad day for a lot of people, and I’ve never been able to get excited about it.
