The Chicago Bears made a notable roster transaction on Wednesday, claiming pass rusher Lamarr Houston off waivers from the Houston Texans. This is Houston’s second stint with the Bears, who released him back in September with an injury settlement. He signed with the Texans on October, and they are releasing him now to make room for Brian Cushing.
Houston had a sack and seven tackles in five games with Houston. He returns to Chicago where he spent the past three seasons. He had no sacks in two games last season, but had eight sacks in a full 2015 season.
