The San Francisco 49ers reported to training camp on Friday, and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo says he's been cleared to practice without restrictions.
"It's officially official," Garoppolo told reporters. "I'm really happy where I'm at, I think it was a very successful summer, I got a lot done. It's really coming together now. Now we're rolling."
The quarterback suffered a torn ACL in September 2018, and was mostly held out of 11-on-11 drills during the 49ers' offseason program.
Despite the clearance, the 49ers announced that Garoppolo will not play in the team's preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys on August 10th.
