Anthony Davis brought up the idea of moving to guard after seeing how well Trent Brown was playing at tackle for the San Francisco 49ers. It appears his idea has come to fruition.
The 49ers have been slowly giving Davis more and more snaps at right guard in practice. Friday night they gave him his first start, and he did not disappoint.
Said head coach Chip Kelly, per ESPN:
We were happy with what AD did. You know, first extended playing time in a game at guard.
