Another NFL reporter predicts that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy will set the quarterback market with his upcoming extension this offseason.
Fresh off the Niners’ bye week, the Athletic published an article from veteran reporter Matt Barrows with six midseason predictions about the team. Chief among them is that Purdy is well on his way to becoming one of the highest-paid quarterbacks, if not the top-paid quarterback, in the NFL once he’s eligible for his extension this coming offseason.
“Will it be $50, $55, $60 or $65 million a year?” Barrows writes.
