After three straight convincing losses, you never know what you are going to find in a post game locker room. Some players won’t talk, some give wooden answers about staying together through tough times and not “pointing fingers.” Others, like 49ers guard Alex Boone, will be authentic.
When asked about the team’s offensive identity, Boone said, “We are still trying to find our identity and that’s a (expletive) place to be. Whatever it is, we better figure it out by tomorrow.”
As more reporters gathered, Boone’s frustration rose.
“We have got to convert third downs, that’s the bottom line,” Boone.
