Adam Schefter joined the Pat McAfee show and shared his thoughts on Brandon Aiyuk, the 49ers position, and Aiyuk’s latest TikTok video featuring Jayden Daniels.
Schefter stated to Mcafee after being asked about Aiyuk’s “they don’t want me” statement.
“Well, I think what happened here. Let me state for the record that the 49ers absolutely DO want Brandon Aiyuk back despite what he says, but they don’t want him back as he thinks at the price that he is seeking. That is where the breakdown occurs at this point in time.”
Schefter went on to explain that the 49ers were close at one point, but the wide receiver market exploded and cited Jaylen Waddle’s deal specifically as a bump in the road.
