The 2015 season will be vastly different compared to the last 10 San Francisco 49ers’ campaigns.
This year marks the first in which running back Frank Gore will not be suiting up in a Niners uniform. Gore left the team via free agency this offseason.
Despite the notable departure, San Francisco still has amicable depth at this crucial offensive position.
The 49ers have six running backs on their 90-man roster entering training camp. The most noteworthy of these backs are presumed-featured back Carlos Hyde, pass-catching threat Reggie Bush and standout backup Kendall Hunter.
Hyde will be expected to pick up where Gore left off.
