The San Francisco 49ers signed wide receiver and returner Keshawn Martin on Tuesday, adding some depth to a much maligned unit. Martin plays wide receiver, and can handle both kick and punt returns. The 49ers kick return game has been in the bottom third of the league, while their wide receivers are unable to do much. Whether it’s more of them than the quarterback or vice versa, something needs to change.
We took a few minutes to chat with Rich Hill from Pats Pulpit. Martin spent his first three years in Houston, but was traded to the New England Patriots last year.
