Based off what happened earlier in the regular season, the San Francisco 49ers should have no trouble beating the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game.
Back in Week 12 on Sunday Night Football, the Niners throttled quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Co., 37-8, holding Rodgers to just over 100 yards passing and sacking him five times. It was the ultimate one-sided affair between two teams en route to becoming legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
San Francisco still might have the advantage.
After all, head coach Kyle Shanahan’s squad was minus EDGE Dee Ford, linebacker Kwon Alexander, and left tackle Joe Staley, who were all out with injuries during that game.
